E.J. has been taken by a love of science, creation, and ecosystem building from an early age. As a recovering economist, I have learned that my joy in bringing people together to build institutions can have profound impact in the acceleration of science. Across my career, I have brought academic study to the pursuit of creating better innovation ecosystems, while placing people and the creation of companies at the heart of my work. I have coached thousands of companies across many ecosystems but have found my calling in helping to shape the institutions serving entrepreneurs and innovators from universities to VCs, foundations to industry associations. Outside of work, I am a proud father of a teenager, watch way too many sci-fi shows with my partner, and find joy in creating art.
